Time is a luxury. Ten parts are scattered across this large region, full of hazards, obstacles, and natural predators. Yet, this area is somehow serene and tranquil - despite having to land the ships in such an open area, it's somehow soothing. Yet, Olimar must use all his Pikmin-wrangling skills and time management skills here in order to obtain everything in time.

Olimar begins to feel uncertainty about ever getting home, but looks to the Pikmin themselves for inspiration and courage. He almost considers staying here and living as a Pikmin to escape his menial life and job back home... but knows he must try his hardest to escape, for the sake of his wife and children at home.

But since these Pikmin come from the depths of the soil, surely to the soil they shall return. How very poetic—while it is all alien to me, the basic premise is universally beautiful."
