Out of the 30 missing ship parts, there is only one left... The obstacles in this region make accessing it difficult, but with the help of the Pikmin can be broken down over the course of about a day. The final part has been swallowed up by the largest beast Olimar has encountered, living in a sand pit on the edge of the forest. With the help of the bombs scattered around the level, this beast can be taken down and the part retrieved.

At last... Olimar can finally escape this planet and go home to see his family. It's been an ordeal he wasn't even sure he'd survive, had he not found his ship's engine on the first day. But he made it through, and he's extremely grateful for the help of the Pikmin. As he launches his ship from the planet for the final time, he notices them fighting off one of their key predators...

The other Pikmin see him off has he leaves the planet's atmosphere - different colours of Pikmin onions Olimar hasn't even encountered are there as a final farewell, one last scene for him to remember his journey by.
