a website dedicated to preserving and educating others on indigenous languages and cultures. i think it's a lot of fun to look at the shared vocabularies between languages!

a collection on archive.org of various old in-store k-mart cassette tapes and records. i'm old enough to remember when the music played in stores wasn't the same old dozen songs over and over, so these tapes are very nostalgic to me.
a great companion is this channel on youtube, which collects high quality versions of the playlists on the tapes.

this is a website dedicated to old film colouring technology, with tons of examples of coloured film from the early to mid 1900s.

this website runs an interactive emulator that provides weather data for any U.S. location. it uses music and visuals from the 1990s weather channel so it's very nostalgic for me!

this website hosts streams of radio stations from all over the world. i've found some of my favourite songs just by browsing stations for just a few minutes!

italian archive of a bunch of retro shoujo anime images and other things, i love going through the pages for art inspiration!
